The Silvana wreck, off the Palomino Islands, offers a quick and easy dive, perfect for a surface interval or if you’re new to wrecks. It’s a fishing vessel, swamped and washed ashore back in '89, now resting in just five metres of water. You can clearly see the hull and some superstructure, surprisingly intact given its shallow depth. Sea lions are often curious here, zipping past the hull, and we’ve seen plenty of blennies and small crabs tucked into the metalwork. It's a relaxed site, great for photography practice or just enjoying a gentle drift over a piece of local history.
