NETTA - Los Roques Archipelago
Netta is a solid dive, a real piece of history resting in Los Roques’ shallows. This carrier vessel went down back in 1971, the result of some heavy weather and steering trouble. At just 7 meters, it’s a perfect spot for divers looking for a relaxed exploration, even if you’re newer to wreck diving. The hull is largely intact, with plenty of openings to peer into. We’ve seen schools of snapper darting through the cargo holds, and often a nurse shark or two tucked away under the bow. It’s not a deep dive, but it’s definitely a rewarding one for wreck lovers.
