Nusablu Diving - Lombok & Gili Islands
The team at Nusablu Diving really stand out on Lombok, especially for divers who prefer a bit more space and less Gili T chaos. We love their commitment to smaller groups; it makes a real difference when you’re drifting over the South Lombok reefs, giving you more room to enjoy the barracuda schools that often patrol the deeper sections. Their PADI offerings are solid, perfect if you’re looking to get certified away from the usual crowds. What we genuinely appreciate about Nusablu is their local knowledge. They know the currents around Belongas Bay like the back of their hand, which means safer dives and better chances of seeing the mobula rays that frequent the cleaning stations there, particularly in the cooler months. Our favourite dives with them were always early morning trips to the Magnet, when the water was still calm and the schools of fusiliers were so thick they almost blocked out the sun. They're honest about conditions too, which we always value – no pushing a dive if the surge is too strong. Definitely a solid pick if you’re staying on Lombok itself and want a more personalised experience.
