Amanwana Dive Centre, found on Moyo Island near Lombok, feels more like a private expedition outfit than a typical dive shop. They cater to a quieter crowd, offering PADI courses and guided dives around Moyo’s lesser-known sites. We’ve found their house reef to be surprisingly vibrant, especially on a calm morning, with plenty of reef sharks cruising through. It’s a good pick if you’re staying at the resort and prefer diving away from the Gili hustle, valuing peace over a high-traffic dive boat.
