Sunrise Dive Bali - Lombok & Gili Islands
The team at Sunrise Dive Bali are genuinely lovely people, the kind you immediately warm to. They’ve got a real knack for making you feel at home, whether you're a fresh PADI Open Water diver or you’ve got hundreds of dives under your belt. We’ve always appreciated their patient approach to instruction; they don't rush you and they make sure you're truly comfortable before taking the plunge. While their current description talks about Bali, their real heart is in Lombok and the Gilis, and that's where we think they truly shine. They're based right in the thick of it, meaning short boat rides to some of our favourite local spots. We especially love their early morning trips out to Shark Point, where the sun filtering through the water just as the reef wakes up is something special. We’ve seen white tip reef sharks cruising there more often than not, along with turtles lazily munching on the corals. They’re also brilliant at finding the smaller stuff, nudibranchs and pygmy seahorses, which some centres tend to overlook. Their boats are well-maintained, and the equipment is solid, no leaky masks or sticky regs, which is always a bonus. If you’re looking for a relaxed vibe, attentive guides, and access to some fantastic Gili diving, Sunrise Dive Bali is a solid choice.
