Gili Meno Harbour - Lombok & Gili Islands

La Poza, in Xcalak, really delivers if you're looking for that classic Caribbean wall dive feel, but with a cenote twist. We love how the trench just drops away, creating this natural drift. The visibility averages 15m, which is good enough to appreciate the scale. It starts with these gorgeous fields of elkhorn coral, a real postcard moment. We'd suggest taking your time there. Then, as you follow the wall, you get into some serious coral architecture – tower-like structures and alcoves absolutely stuffed with fish. We’ve seen big schools of French grunts and yellowtail parrotfish hugging the coral. Keep an eye out for those massive tarpon, sometimes two metres long, just cruising by. And seriously, the manatee alert is real. We’ve had a few incredible encounters here, usually after the elkhorn section. It’s not a super deep dive, maxing out at 18m, making it perfect for divers who want a relaxed but rewarding drift with a chance of something truly special.
