Gili Trawangan - Manta Point - Lombok & Gili Islands

Manta Point, off Gili Trawangan, is exactly what it sounds like. We’ve found mantas here, often cruising the sandy bottom or hovering over cleaning stations, especially during the dry season. It’s a pretty easy dive, typically a gentle drift, so it’s good for newer divers hoping for that first manta encounter without much fuss. If you’re not seeing mantas, there’s still a chance for reef sharks and turtles passing through.
