Dive Central Gili - Lombok & Gili Islands
We’ve spent a fair bit of time exploring the Gilis, and when it comes to a solid, friendly operation, Dive Central Gili consistently stands out. The team there, run by their English owners, strikes that perfect balance of professional and genuinely fun. We love how they’ve integrated themselves into Pesona Resort, making the whole dive-and-relax experience seamless. What really sets them apart is their dedication to taking the time. Whether you’re fresh into your Open Water or looking to seriously level up with professional qualifications, they don't rush you. Our favourite dives with them are often the twilight ones around Shark Point, where the light shifts and you start seeing the reef sharks wake up. They’re excellent at finding the smaller stuff too; keep an eye out for their instructors pointing out pygmy seahorses if you’re lucky. They run a smooth operation for fun dives, too, often hitting sites like Halik or Coral Fan Garden when the currents are mellow, giving you ample time to drift along with schools of snapper. If you want a dive centre that feels like diving with good mates, these are your people.
