Why dive here
With 246+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks, grey reef sharks, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Selang north offers some of Lombok & Gili Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Selang North offers a gentle slope dive along a hard coral reef, eventually leading to a wall. We typically see bannerfish, snapper, and batfish here. It’s a pretty easygoing site, good for less experienced divers or those looking for a relaxed second dive. Watch for the occasional green sea turtle cruising by.
