USAT Liberty Wreck - Lombok & Gili Islands

The Labyrinth is a genuinely unique dive in the Somosomo Strait, perfect for when you're ready for something a bit different from the usual reef exploration. You'll spend your time navigating through six distinct cave systems, each naturally lit by shafts of sunlight filtering down from holes in the reef above. It’s an incredible place to practice your buoyancy; no need for torches, just slow, controlled movement through the formations. Out beyond the cave mouths, keep an eye out for reef sharks patrolling the pinnacles. We recommend checking tide times with your dive operator, as The Labyrinth is best dived at high tide for the easiest access. Visibility averages around 13m inside, giving you clear views of the small tropical fish and crustaceans tucked into the nooks.
