Barracuda East - Raja Ampat
Barracuda East, while perhaps not as famous as some of Raja Ampat’s big-ticket sites, offers a solid, enjoyable dive. We’ve found it’s a good spot for easing into the day, often with a manageable current along its sloping reef. Look closely among the soft corals and you'll often find Denise's pygmy seahorses, tiny and well-camouflaged. It’s also a good place to tick off several pygmy goby species like the Meshed and Wasp Pygmy Gobies, if you’re into the smaller stuff. This site suits divers who appreciate macro life and a generally relaxed drift.
