Boo Island - Raja Ampat

Boo Island, or Boo Windows as it’s often called, is a shallow, relaxed dive in Raja Ampat, a good spot to ease into your day or for divers who prefer less depth. The standout feature is definitely the twin swim-throughs, cutting right under the island's distinctive split rocks. We usually save those for the end, letting the natural light stream in from the surface as we drift through. Before that, though, we trace a coral-encrusted wall, where we’ve often spotted sweetlips hovering under ledges and fusiliers moving in schools. It’s a pleasant dive, not overwhelmingly dramatic, but consistently enjoyable for its easy navigation and gentle pace, ideal for photographers or those just wanting to soak in the atmosphere.
