With 236+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses and sea turtles - Citrus Ridge Dive Site offers some of Raja Ampat's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-30°C, warmest May, November, December.
Citrus Ridge offers a pleasant drift along a sloping reef. The current tends to be gentle, carrying you south past healthy hard corals and plenty of the usual reef fish. We often spot chocolate chip sea stars clinging to the bommies and it’s a good spot for spotting a range of sea cucumbers like the plump brown sandfish. Keep an eye out for the Golden fern hydroid; it’s surprisingly delicate. It’s a relaxed dive, good for photographers or anyone wanting to take their time.
