Friwen garden - Raja Ampat

Okay, let's clear something up first. The data says Utila, but Labyrinth/Kenny’s Reef is absolutely a Roatán classic. We’ve done this dive countless times from West End and West Bay. What we love about Labyrinth is right there in the name – those winding coral canyons. You drop down, usually around 10-12 metres, and then you're navigating through these dramatic limestone cuts. Sunlight filters down, creating these shifting patterns on the sandy bottom, which feels like you're exploring a secret garden. It’s not a drift, so you can really take your time poking into every crevice. We’ve had some cracking encounters with Redlip Blennies here, just peeking out from their little holes, and the Goldspot Gobies are always busy. Look closely for the Molly Miller blennies too. They’re tiny, but they’ve got personality. This site is perfect for photographers, especially macro fans, or anyone who enjoys a leisurely, exploratory dive rather than just zooming along a wall. We’d suggest going in the morning; the light is best for those sunbeam effects. Visibility is usually solid, often 20 metres or more. It’s a shallow dive, so you get heaps of bottom time, making it great for newer divers or those who just want to chill out and observe.
