Gamfi Damu - Raja Ampat

Gamfi Damu offers a really comfortable shallow dive, maxing out around 12 meters. The currents here can push a bit, which is exactly what we want, because it means the soft corals are always out, fully extended, grabbing whatever microscopic snacks drift by. We’ve often seen a whole crew of bumphead parrotfish cruising the reef, chomping away at the hard corals, their teeth making that distinctive crunch. Keep an eye out for green turtles too, they’re regularly spotted grazing or heading up for air. It’s a great spot for an easy second dive, or for anyone who just loves soaking in the details of a healthy, current-fed reef.
