With 236+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses and sea turtles - Kanim offers some of Raja Ampat's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-30°C, warmest May, November, December.
Kanim typically delivers a solid Raja Ampat dive. Expect sloping reefs packed with soft corals and whip corals, making for some colourful wide-angle shots. We’ve often seen schooling fusiliers here, along with a resident turtle or two. It’s a good option for a relaxed drift, suitable for most experience levels when currents are mild.
