Karang Bata - Raja Ampat
Karang Bata is a substantial reef system in Raja Ampat, a good spot for divers who appreciate extensive coral coverage. We found plenty of reef sharks cruising the deeper sections, and the shallower areas often had schools of bumphead parrotfish. It’s a solid dive for those who enjoy drifting along healthy reef walls, offering a consistent experience rather than specific showstoppers. The currents can pick up here, so it’s best for intermediate divers comfortable with a bit of movement.
