With 236+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses and sea turtles - Swarm offers some of Raja Ampat's richest diving. Water ranges 29-30°C, warmest May, November, December.
The Swarm often delivers on its name, with dense schools of fusiliers and anthias creating a shifting curtain of fish. We've finned through them so thick you lose sight of your buddy. Look closer on the reef for Blackbelly Pygmygobies and Sparse Eviotas. It’s a good spot for wide-angle photographers and divers who appreciate sheer numbers.
