With 236+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, manta rays, mobula rays (devil rays), pygmy seahorses and sea turtles - Telma offers some of Raja Ampat's richest diving. Water ranges 29-30°C, warmest May, November, December.
Telma gives us a quiet contrast to some of Raja Ampat's busier spots. It's a nice place to slow down and really look, with critters like Freycinet's Epaulette Sharks often tucked away. We've also spotted some interesting smaller fish here, from Bigmouth Gobies to Short-snouted Pipefish, making it a good choice for macro enthusiasts and those who appreciate a relaxed dive.
