Underwater cave - Raja Ampat

Raja Ampat's "Underwater cave" isn't a massive cavern system, but it’s a fascinating, compact dive. We’ve found it more of a dramatic overhang leading into a substantial grotto, with shafts of light often cutting through from above. Look closely in the darker corners for Denise's pygmy seahorses, though they take a keen eye and a patient spotter. It’s a site for divers who appreciate the subtle details and the geology as much as the fish, maybe not a beginner's first cave experience, but definitely approachable for those comfortable with overhead environments. Keep an eye out for Malabar groupers lurking in the shadows, and we’ve even spotted Olive Ridley turtles passing by the entrance.
