Mandarin Valley - Mabul & Kapalai

Mandarin Valley, tucked away in Mabul, is a fantastic spot for patient macro photographers and those who appreciate the smaller stuff. We’ve found pygmy seahorses here if you’ve got a good guide, along with frogfish and the site's namesake, the mandarinfish. It’s a gentle dive, generally without much current, making it perfect for lingering over tiny critters. Come for a night dive to see the mandarinfish dance at dusk.
