Sipadan Diving: The Legend of Borneo - Mabul & Kapalai

Alright, Sipadan. The name itself brings a nod of recognition from most divers. We know it’s a wall dive, and a busy one at that. You’re heading out there for the sheer numbers: schools of barracuda forming their famous tornado, bumphead parrotfish cruising past in the hundreds, and so many green turtles it feels like they’re queuing up for a fly-by. It suits advanced divers comfortable in currents, because while the pelagics are impressive, those currents can be too. We’d suggest going early to beat some of the crowd and catch the reef sharks still patrolling the deeper ledges.
