South Point - Mabul & Kapalai

South Point on Mabul is a good spot for finding smaller stuff. We usually cruise along the sandy slope, keeping an eye out for frogfish camouflaged on sponges or little ornate ghost pipefish hiding in crinoids. It's a relaxed dive, usually with gentle currents, making it ideal for newer divers or those who prefer a slower pace to really hunt for macro life. Don't expect dramatic coral walls, but do bring your macro lens.
