Turtle Tomb - Mabul & Kapalai

The Turtle Tomb at Sipadan’s South Point isn't a deep dive, but it's one we always find interesting. It’s essentially an underwater cavern where turtles often swim in and get disoriented, eventually perishing. We’ve seen several complete turtle skeletons down there, which is a surprisingly poignant sight. We’d suggest this site for experienced divers comfortable in enclosed spaces, as entry requires good buoyancy and awareness.
