Whitetip Avenue - Mabul & Kapalai

Whitetip Avenue, near Mabul, is exactly what it sounds like. We’ve often seen whitetip reef sharks cruising the sandy bottom and along the reef edge here, sometimes resting in small groups. It’s a pretty easy dive, generally with mild currents, which makes it a good spot for newer divers hoping to tick off their first shark encounter. Beyond the sharks, expect a typical Mabul reef scene – a few turtles, some schooling jacks, and good macro if you look closely.
