K.K Bay - Perhentian Islands

K.K. Bay on Perhentian Besar offers a mellow, shallow dive, a nice change of pace from some of the deeper sites. It's often a good spot for a second dive or if you're looking for something calm. The bottom here is a mix of sand and seagrass beds, which means you're more likely to spot creatures like Brown Sandfish or various sea cucumbers, including the Blackspotted variety, than big pelagics. We’ve also seen some decent patches of honeycomb and organ pipe corals. Keep an eye out for the odd Tigerfish or Curryfish meandering through the seagrass; it’s a site that rewards a slow pace and a keen eye for macro life.
