Karang Selat - Perhentian Islands
Karang Selat, on the Perhentian Islands, is a solid intermediate dive, generally staying around the 20-meter mark. We've found it a good spot for a relaxed drift when the current picks up a bit, letting you glide over the sandy patches interspersed with coral bommies. Keep an eye out for the usual reef suspects here – we often see schools of yellow-tailed snappers, and occasionally a passing turtle or two. It’s a pleasant enough dive if you're looking for something calm, but don't expect it to blow your fins off.
