    Romantic Beach, just a short boat ride from Perhentian Besar, is a solid choice for those getting comfortable in the water. It’s shallow, topping out at 10 meters, so you'll get plenty of bottom time to practice buoyancy or work on your photography. We’ve drifted along here on calmer days and spotted a surprising number of juvenile reef fish darting between the soft corals. Keep an eye out for a sleepy bamboo shark under the ledges. It's an easy, relaxing dive, perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a gentle afternoon immersion.
