With 153+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles, sperm whales, whale sharks and pufferfish - Sea Bell offers some of Perhentian Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, August.
The Sea Bell site in the Perhentians can be a gentle drift when the current picks up, but often it’s a calm amble along a sloping reef. We usually spot a green turtle or two munching on seagrass, quite unfazed by divers. Look closely at the coral bommies; you’ll often find some well-camouflaged stonefish hiding out, and plenty of nudibranchs if you slow down. It's a nice easy dive for getting back into things, or for photographers who like a relaxed pace.
