Quiver Dive Team - Perhentian Islands
The team at Quiver Dive Team are a genuinely solid choice on Perhentian Kecil. We’ve found them to be reliably professional, but with that laid-back island vibe we all look for. They’re a PADI 5 Star Career Development Centre, so naturally, they offer the full suite of PADI courses, right up to instructor level. If you’re looking to get certified, or even thinking about a career change, these guys really do excel at the training side of things. What we really appreciate about Quiver is their commitment to good diving practices. They run small groups, which always makes for a better dive experience, and their instructors are genuinely passionate about the local marine life – expect detailed briefings and plenty of pointing out the smaller critters. We’ve spent many a surface interval chatting with their divemasters about nudibranchs and frogfish. They’re located right on Long Beach, so it’s an easy stroll from most of the accommodation, and you can usually grab a roti canai from a nearby stall before your morning dives. A top pick for serious PADI training or just enjoyable, well-run fun dives around the Perhentians.
