With 153+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles, sperm whales, whale sharks and pufferfish - Serenggeh offers some of Perhentian Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, August.
Serenggeh is one of the easier Perhentian sites, making it a good choice if you're getting back into diving after a break or just building confidence. We've seen a good number of reef fish here, along with the occasional turtle gliding past. The site isn't particularly deep and generally has mild currents, so it's a solid option for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed dive.
