With 153+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles, sperm whales, whale sharks and pufferfish - Terumbu Dua offers some of Perhentian Islands's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, August.
Terumbu Dua is a good spot for a relaxed dive in the Perhentians. We often find schools of yellowtail barracuda circling the pinnacle, along with occasional reef sharks cruising by. It’s a pretty easy dive, suitable for newer divers or those looking for a gentle second or third tank, with decent coral patches and plenty of smaller reef fish. We usually keep an eye out for nudibranchs tucked into the crevices.
