With 153+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles, sperm whales, whale sharks and pufferfish - Tukas Laut offers some of Perhentian Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, August.
Tukas Laut is a straightforward shallow dive, topping out at 18m, which makes it ideal for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed time in the water. We usually find a good mix of smaller reef fish here, things like parrotfish crunching on the coral, and sometimes a few blue-spotted rays resting on the sand. It’s a solid spot for getting comfortable or just enjoying a gentle glide, but don't expect big pelagics.
