Setia Budi - Redang Island

Setia Budi is more than just a wreck; it’s a skeleton of a motor vessel, now completely taken over by the sea. We found its hull and superstructure quite striking, rising from the seabed like some forgotten monument. Look closely at the metalwork, it’s completely encrusted with corals, and you’ll spot resident lionfish tucked into every crevice. Exploring the decks, we often see schools of yellowtail snapper swirling around, using the wreck for shelter. It's a fantastic spot for photographers looking for a dramatic backdrop, and really, anyone who appreciates how quickly the ocean reclaims what’s hers.
