South East Point - Mergui Archipelago

South East Point, off Koh Surin Tai, offers a shallower dive with plenty to explore. We’ve found two distinct lines of boulders here, running out from the main reef into depths around 12 metres. The currents can pick up, especially further out, and that's often when we've spotted a reef shark or two patrolling the edge. Keep an eye out among the soft corals and fans on the rocks for harlequin and robust ghost pipefish – they blend in remarkably well. Down in the rubble, we often find cowrie shells and the occasional ribbon eel poking its head out. It’s a good spot for a relaxed dive, especially if you enjoy searching for the smaller, more camouflaged creatures.
