South Torinla - Mergui Archipelago

South Torinla is a solid, easy dive in the Mergui. It’s a shallow spot, topping out at 21m, which makes it perfect for knocking out a relaxed second or third dive of the day, especially if you're newer to diving. The terrain is mostly hard corals, lots of table corals creating good shelter for smaller reef fish. You'll often find groups of butterflyfish flitting about, and we've spotted the occasional turtle cruising past the reef edge. It’s a gentle introduction to the archipelago's quieter charms.
