Torinla Pinnacle/Rocks - Mergui Archipelago

Torinla Pinnacle, or Torinla Rocks as some liveaboard crews call it, is a reliably solid Mergui dive. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s a good spot to relax and just enjoy being underwater. The pinnacle itself tops out shallow, but we usually found the action clustered around the 15-20 meter mark, where the current tends to gently push past, bringing in schools of snapper and fusiliers. It's a comfortable dive for anyone, really, with plenty of cracks and crevices to poke around in, looking for smaller critters like ornate ghost pipefish or even a robust ghost pipefish if you're lucky. A calm, pleasant dive.
