Mahi Mahi House Reef - Dumaguete
The Mahi Mahi House Reef in Dumaguete is a mellow spot, perfect for getting back into things or stretching out a longer bottom time. We found it’s mostly sloping sand with scattered coral heads, creating little pockets for critters to hide. Look closely and you’ll often spot ornate ghost pipefish swaying with the soft corals, or a couple of flamboyant cuttlefish doing their colour-changing dance across the sand. It’s a consistently easy dive, topping out at 15m, making it a good choice for beginners or those just wanting a relaxed afternoon dip.
