Deep Rock - Malapascua

Deep Rock is a solid choice when you're looking for something a bit different in Malapascua, away from the usual Thresher Shark action. It's a pinnacle, as the name suggests, dropping down with plenty of crevices and overhangs to explore. We’ve spotted everything from curious amberjacks cruising by to the surprisingly common Savigny's Brittle Stars tucked into the coral. You might even catch a glimpse of the elusive pelagic thresher if you're lucky and the conditions are right, though it's not their primary hangout. It’s a good spot for a relaxed dive, with plenty of smaller reef life to keep things interesting.
