Ka-Osting / Bantigue - Malapascua

We often head to Ka-Osting when the main Thresher Shark dives are a bust or the weather shifts. It’s a good alternative for something different, particularly if you’re into the smaller stuff. The sandy bottom stretches out, broken up by seagrass beds where we’ve found a surprising number of critters – think Savigny's brittle stars clinging to the blades and juvenile amberfish darting amongst the Halodule and Thalassia. While it’s not Manta Point, we have seen the occasional thresher shark glide by here, especially early morning, making it a decent spot for a quieter, more relaxed dive.
