Maria Island - Malapascua

Maria Island, just a short boat ride from Malapascua, offers a relaxed dive. The sloped reef is home to a good variety of critters, like scorpionfish tucked into coral and nudibranchs grazing. It’s a solid spot for a second dive or for divers wanting something calmer, often with good visibility. We find it’s a pleasant way to spend an hour underwater without any major currents to contend with.
