LST - Subic Bay

The LST in Subic Bay is a great example of how quickly nature reclaims a vessel. We’ve found it’s shallow enough for longer bottom times, and the wreck itself is quite broken up in places, making for some interesting swim-throughs if you're comfortable with overhead environments. Look for schools of batfish hanging around the main deck, and we've often spotted scorpionfish camouflaged on the hull. It’s a pretty relaxed dive, good for newer wreck divers or photographers wanting to spend time with the abundant fish life that has made this sunken landing craft home.
