Brastagi, near Singapore’s Southern Islands, is less a deep dive and more a historical snorkel, sitting at a maximum depth of one metre. It’s an old motor vessel, its superstructure just peeking above the waterline at low tide, making it surprisingly accessible. While you won't be penetrating any wreck, the shallow hull acts as a busy artificial reef. We've seen juvenile barracuda darting through its ribs and clownfish hosting in anemones clinging to the submerged metal. It’s a gentle spot for a quick dip, perfect for those wanting to explore a piece of maritime history without needing a full tank.
