EVER GRACE - Southern Islands

We’ve spent a fair few hours on the Ever Grace, and it’s consistently one of our favourite dives in Singapore’s Southern Islands. You drop onto the superstructure first, and it’s always a thrill to see that distinct outline emerge from the gloom, especially if the visibility is being temperamental. This isn’t a deep dive at all, so you get plenty of bottom time to really explore the wheelhouse and the open cargo holds. What we love about the Ever Grace is how thoroughly it’s been colonised. Schools of fusiliers often swirl around the mast, so thick they almost blot out the sun. Keep an eye out for resident batfish, they’re usually hanging around the deeper sections of the deck, and we’ve often spotted lionfish tucked into crevices. Entry can be a bit of a scramble if the current is running, but it’s worth it. This is a brilliant site for newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed exploration with plenty of fish life.
