HEOGH TRANSPORTER - Southern Islands

The *Heogh Transporter* sits at 21 metres, and for us, it's one of the most characterful wrecks in Singapore. She’s not massive, but what she lacks in size, she makes up for in atmosphere. We love slipping down the line to find her bow section still largely intact, covered in soft corals. You can swim through the main deck area, imagining containers still strapped down, though now it’s schooling yellowtail snapper and fusiliers that fill the space. Our favourite part is the engine room access. It’s a tight squeeze, but the light shafts filtering through create an eerie, beautiful glow. Look closely at the metalwork for nudibranchs, and keep an eye out for batfish patrolling the superstructure. The visibility here can be a bit hit or miss, so we’d suggest aiming for a slack tide on an incoming current; it usually brings in clearer water. It’s a great dive for anyone comfortable with basic wreck penetration and a decent sense of buoyancy, offering a real glimpse into Singapore's maritime history.
