Ocean Cooper 2 - Southern Islands

The Ocean Cooper 2 is one of our absolute favourite wrecks in Singapore. She went down in 2019, a supply vessel now resting upright at 42 metres, and she’s already a fantastic dive. From the moment you descend, the sheer size is impressive. We usually start our exploration around the stern, the propeller still largely intact, before making our way along the deck. You’ll spot schools of fusiliers darting in and out of the superstructure, and we’ve found some surprisingly large groupers hiding in the cargo holds. What makes this wreck special for us is the way marine life has embraced it so quickly. Look closely at the rails and masts and you’ll see juvenile snappers, damsels, and even nudibranchs already making homes. The bridge area is particularly interesting, offering some accessible swim-throughs if you're comfortable with wreck penetration, but there's plenty to see just cruising the exterior. This is a dive for experienced wreck lovers and those comfortable with deeper profiles, offering a genuine sense of exploration right on Singapore's doorstep. We often hit it on a slack tide for the best visibility, but even with a gentle current, the dive is rewarding.
