Hin Nok : Nok Pinnacle : หินนก - Koh Lanta & Phi Phi
Hin Nok, or Nok Pinnacle, is a good pick if you’re looking for a relaxed dive in the Lanta/Phi Phi area. It’s a shallow site, topping out at 16 meters, which makes it an easy one for beginners or for shaking off the rust after a break. We’ve often spotted schools of Twospot Snappers here, sometimes so many that the light seems to dim a little as they pass. Keep an eye out for the flashes of Moorish Idols darting between the rocks, and those Redbreast Maori Wrasse are always curious, often coming in close for a look. It’s not a thrill-a-minute spot, but it’s a solid, pleasant dive for enjoying the small stuff.
