Ihasia Diving Koh Tao - Koh Tao

We’ve spent a fair bit of time on Koh Tao, enough to know the dive centres. The team at Ihasia Diving Koh Tao feel genuinely different. They’re based right on Chalok Baan Kao, which we love because it’s a bit calmer than Sairee. You walk straight from the shop onto their boat, which means no faffing with taxis or long walks in dive gear. It’s a small operation, intentional we think, and they really nail that personalised touch. We'd suggest them particularly if you’re doing your Open Water or Advanced. Their small group sizes mean you actually get proper attention, not just bobbing in a pack of eight. And for Spanish speakers, finding quality instruction in your native language can be tricky, but Ihasia do it well. We remember a Discover Scuba group there, laughing as they surfaced, already hooked. You see fewer divers, more reef, and that’s a big win in Koh Tao.
