Hin Luk Bath - Koh Tao

Hin Luk Bath, or ‘Bat Rock’, offers a change of pace from some of Koh Tao’s busier spots. We usually find it fairly quiet, which is always a bonus. The main draw here is a series of granite boulders, forming swim-throughs and small caverns that are fun to explore. Look for nudibranchs tucked into crevices and keep an eye out for blue-lined rock cod resting on ledges. It’s a good spot for newer divers, but even experienced eyes will enjoy the topography and the chance to spot a few more unusual residents like the occasional dragonfish or a common seahorse if you’re lucky. We’ve even had a blacktip reef shark cruise past on more than one occasion.
