NO. 1 - Koh Tao

The NO. 1 wreck off Koh Tao is a torpedo boat, now a deliberate hazard for unwary skippers and a cool dive for us. She sits upright at 21 meters, a steel skeleton draped in fishing nets and growth. We usually find schools of yellowtail barracuda circling the bow, and often see some grumpy stonefish tucked into crevices. It’s an easy wreck to navigate, great for those new to penetration diving, with open hatches leading into accessible holds. Just watch for the current, it can pick up here, making for a swift drift around the old girl.
